The Isaiah 43 Podcast
The Isaiah 43 Podcast invites you to behold the God who says, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine” (Isa. 43:1). Each week, we walk slowly through the Scriptures, combining careful exegesis with the rich truths of Reformed theology. These reflections on the Holy Scriptures aim to ground your faith, comfort your heart, and lift your eyes to Christ—our great Redeemer, Shepherd, and Friend. Whether you come weary, searching, or eager to grow, you’ll find a steady place to rest in the promises of God.

Week 130: The Shepherd Who Calls You by Name
Fear not. He calls you by name. He has redeemed you. You are His.
As we begin studying John 10, we see Jesus describe the love of God using a shepherd and sheep metaphor. He calls us His sheep. He cares for His sheep. His sheep know His voice and do not listen to another. What hope can be found in this? What joy? And what does Christ mean when he calls us sheep compared to what the world means when it calls us sheep?
This week we will be reading the following Scripture:
- John 10:1-6
- Psalm 139:5
- John 14:6
- John 17:3
- Philippians 1:6
- John 10:27-29
- Romans 8:35-39
- 1 Peter 5:7
- Isaiah 43:1
- Hebrews 2:10,11
- Romans 8:31-39
We look forward to seeing you again next Friday!
